My name is Elizabeth Brown. I was born on December 7th, 1988 in Escondido, California. I resided in Menifee, California for the majority of my childhood. When I was 16 years old, I completed the California High School Proficiency Examination to graduate high school after my sophomore year. My family moved to Maui, Hawaii the following year, and I was able to complete community college courses over the Internet. I was employed full-time during that time at a preschool as well, and involved at my church.
After returning to California, I completed my Associate’s Degree education at Mount San Jacinto College. I graduated in May 2007, and was accepted into California State University, Chico, which I began to attend in August 2007. I completed my coursework and obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences in December of 2009.
I currently reside in Chico, California, and am applying to enter into the program to obtain a Master’s of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science at California State University, Chico. I hope to complete the program in May of 2011, and obtain a didactic internship soon after.
